I am your garden variety hopeless romantic. I still believe in fairy tales, knights in shining armor, and happy endings. My interests and hobbies include walking, hiking, taveling, reading, watching movies, surfing the Net, and exploring. I enjoy browsing antique shops and flea markets. I try to make laughter a part of my daily diet....love to laugh and have fun with family and friends. I am divorced, 5'10", have red hair, and my birthday is July 21, 1952. I am inclined to be independent and self-reliant. But very affectionate--love all the romantic stuff....cards, flowers, holding hands, cuddling, hugs and kisses.... This is not original, but I tell friends that I'm not looking for someone I can live with. I'm looking for someone I can't live without! My life is good right now. I have two beautiful children. My daughter is married and has one son. He will be one on December 8 and is such a Sweetie Pie! My son is 19 and is a sophomore in college this fall. They continue to be the light of my life. My friends call me "Rockin' Grandma." I try to stay in shape and currently enjoy excellent health. I like most types of music--oldies, blues, some country. I am an educator. I think I started "playing teacher" before I could walk. I have always loved the classroom. It has become more difficult through the years....more paper work, more reports, and can be very stressful at times. After 28 years, you know that my nerves are shot and my brain is fried! :) There are a few perks, however, that I enjoy. I am a Phi Beta Lambda adviser at the community college where I teach.
